Aurora Snow is the daughter of British and French parents. She has three younger brothers. She was born on 26th November 1981 in Vermont, USA and her real name is Rebecca Claire Kensington. When she was younger she was obsessed with the 1959 film ‘Sleeping Beauty’ and the main character Princess Aurora, hence the choice of her professional name.
Whilst she was still young her parents divorced and later her mother remarried a man who took them all to Nottingham, England to live. Aurora now has four younger siblings as well.
Even as a young girl Aurora had a keen interest in performing arts. At the age of 16 she moved to New York and attended university there, studying for a degree with a major in theatre.
As far as Aurora was concerned her world existed around performing and she had every intention of trying to make it big in mainstream films. Then she answered an advert in a newspaper looking for an actress/model.
This was the start of Aurora’s porn career. Up until that time Aurora had only had a handful of boyfriends and had led a relatively conservative life. At the beginning of her career Aurora was quite shy. Her very first girl/girl experience was on camera. It was a full year before Aurora agreed to do anal on film. Aurora has a few compilation DVDs on the market at the moment featuring collections of her best performances, for example Jill Kelly Productions (JKP) ‘Best Of Aurora Snow’, Metro’s ‘Wild On X Vol. 3 The Best Of Aurora Snow’ and Evil Empire’s ‘Jules Jordan’s Aurora Snow vs Gauge’.
Aurora says that thanks to the adult industry she is much more open and broad-minded, leading to trying things in her private life that she would never otherwise have thought of. In her films she’s done gang bangs, girl/girl and orgies and says that if it wasn’t for her career she probably would never have had a chance to experience those situations.
