Belladonna was born on 21st May, 1981 in Mississippi, USA. Her real name is Michelle Anne Sinclair. She had a strict Mormon upbringing, shocking many people with her career choice in porn.
When Bella was 18 she was working as a dancer at a strip club in Salt Lake City. One day a friend told her about the opportunity of work appearing in magazines and videos in the adult industry. The main attraction for Bella, at that point, was the fact that there was good money to be made.
Shortly after that conversation Bella flew to Los Angeles to begin her career in adult, and chose Belladonna as her stage name. ‘Bella’ means ‘beautiful’ in Italian. Her very first film was in the year 2000, called ‘Real Sex Magazine 31’, with Chris Cannon. She now has well over 100 films on her ever growing filmography.

She gives a lot of credit to Nacho Vidal for how she approaches her film making, as he helped her to be more open minded about her sexuality. She now owns her own company called Belladonna Entertainment, and is busy directing and producing films exclusively for Evil Empire.
Belladonna also won a string of awards in 2003. 4 from AVN, all from scenes in ‘The Fashionistas’: ‘Best All-Girl Sex Scene’ for a scene with Taylor St. Clair, ‘Best Oral Sex Scene’ award with Rocco Siffredi, ‘Best Supporting Actress’, and ‘Best Tease Performance. From the X-Rated Critics’ Organization (XRCO) she won ‘Best Actress’ and ‘Best Girl-Girl Sex Scene’ (with Taylor St. Clair) for ‘The Fashionistas’. XRCO also named her Female Performer Of The Year and Orgasmic Analist.
In her spare time Bella likes to go to the cinema, play video games, workout, cycle, cook and dance. She changes her hair colour every few months, and her clothes many times a day depending on her mood at the time. Her favourite food is Sushi or vegetarian food, and she likes to drink green tea and lots of water. Belladonna is married to Aiden Kelly, and they have a daughter called Myla, born in January 2005.
