Ava Vincent started off in the porn business with the name Jewel Valmont. She used that name for her first year performing but changed it to Ava Vincent after she was confused too many times with other actresses that had ‘Jewel’ in their names.
Ava was born on 29th September 1975 in California, America. It was her ambition to make it big in mainstream acting but after working in an adult bookstore she developed an interest in the porn business.
Ava became increasingly interested in how movies were shot and directed, as well as the people in the films. She also began taking movies home with her and watching them. Ava was young and shy at the time and she claims that watching the movies helped her to open up a bit and become more uninhibited.
It was through her job at the adult bookstore that Ava entered the adult industry. A friend of Ava’s, porn actress Samantha Styles, worked in the same town as a Contract girl for Seymour Butts. Samantha took nude photos of Ava and passed them on to her boss. One thing led to another and shortly afterwards Ava entered the adult business.
Whilst still working at the bookstore Ava also had her first girl-girl sexual experience. Some porn stars had been appearing in the bookstore that day and had later given Ava the room number of their hotel. That evening Ava went out with some friends to a club. The porn stars were also there and started coming on to her. Before she knew it she was having sex in the back of a taxi with Melisha, Petra and Alex Sanders.
One of Ava’s first appearances was in 1998 in the first film of Evil Empire’s series ‘Please!’, in that same year she also appeared in Anabolic’s ‘Nasty Girls #18’. Both appearances under Jewel Valmont. Later appearances include Evil Empire’s ‘Fresh Meat 7’ (still as Jewel) and JKP’s (Jill Kelly Productions) ‘When The Boyz Are Away The Girlz Will Play 4’ and ‘April In January’.
Ava has almost 200 scintillating performances to her name. Recent appearances are in the popular Wicked Pictures’ ‘Eye Of The Beholder’ and Mercenary Pictures’ ‘Top Guns Volume 2’. Ava’s favourite scene is from Metro’s ‘Babes Illustrated #9’ with Cassidey (called Bobbie at the time). It was a hot, wild and passionate scene. Ava’s favourite directors are Michael Raven, Brad Armstrong, James Avalon and Kelly Holland.
2001 was a busy year for Ava. She was ‘Penthouse Pet Of The Month August’ and she won the ‘Best Girl-Girl’ prize for a scene in ‘Les Vampires (Vampyres)’ opposite fellow actress Syren. In 2001 Ava also got married, to fellow porn performer John Decker. It was to be a short-lived marriage but the couple turned out some of their hottest work during that time. Particularly memorable is a scene in JKP’s ‘Perfect Pink 9’.
Ava Vincent and John Decker divorced in 2002. During their marriage John introduced Ava to S&M which she now enjoys in her private life. In 2002 Ava received 9 AVN nominations, the most that any female performer had gathered at that time. She won the AVN awards for ‘Best Group Sex Scene’ and ‘Best Supporting Actress’ in the film ‘Succubus’.
Ava Vincent can easily be described as one of porn’s top starlets. Fans describe her as ‘hotter than the sun’. In her spare time her cats and dogs keep her busy.
